Our story began many years ago in 9th grade study block. Study block was the only “class” we had together our 9th grade year, but we quickly became best friends. Throughout the beginning of high school we dated, but were more friends than anything else. Towards the end of high school our friendship dwindled and we both went our separate ways to college. Christyn went to the sunny University of Tampa and Robert went to snowy Rochester Institute of Technology. The first couple of years of college we talked very little, but over the winter break of junior year we got together to catch up and our friendship was rekindled. During the remainder of Christyn’s junior year and Robert’s internship in Seattle with Microsoft, we spent nearly every night on the phone together. Beginning over the summer of 2004 while Christyn was home for summer break and Robert was home before starting full time at Microsoft our relationship began. During Christyn’s senior year of college we dated long distance, with Christyn making several trips to Seattle and Robert making trips to Tampa. Christyn visited Seattle several times and realized that she liked Seattle (it doesn’t rain all the time). Upon Christyn’s graduation from college we took a weeklong trip to Las Vegas and then Christyn returned home. After a summer of continued late night phone calls, Christyn decided to make the big move. On September 10th 2005 Christyn and her three suitcases arrived in Seattle. The last two and half years have been filled with so many happy memories. We have taken trips to Yellowstone and Canada, become avid Seahawk fans, accumulated 3 cats, bought a house, and have begun our lives together.
